Who we are

Is Noted is a lead generation service for local home service businesses, operated by Favored Company LLC. This policy covers isnoted.com, the websites and landing pages we build for our clients, and the software our clients use to manage the leads we send them.

What we collect

Information you give us. When you fill out a form on isnoted.com or on a website we operate for one of our clients, we collect what you enter. That is usually your name, phone number, email address, and details about the service you are asking for. If you book an appointment, we also collect the time you picked and anything you tell us about the job.

Information collected automatically. Our servers log standard technical information when you visit: IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and the page that referred you. We use this to keep the sites working and to understand which pages people find useful.

We do not ask for and do not want sensitive information such as government ID numbers, financial account numbers, or health information. Please do not include it in a form or a text message.

How we use it

We use the information you provide to:

  • Pass your request to the business you contacted, so they can call you back or show up for the appointment you booked.
  • Send you confirmations, reminders, and follow-up messages about that request, by text or email.
  • Answer your questions and provide customer support.
  • Keep records of consent and message history, which we are required to maintain.
  • Measure and improve how our pages and forms perform.

Text messaging

When you provide your phone number on one of our forms, a notice appears directly above the submit button telling you that you agree to receive text messages from that business about your request and appointments. Submitting the form with your phone number is how you give consent. We record the date, time, and the page you submitted it from.

The messages you may receive are about your own request: confirmation that we got it, appointment confirmations and reminders, a link to book or rebook a time, and follow-up about the job you asked about. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.

To stop receiving texts, reply STOP to any message. Reply HELP for help. You can also email us at hello@isnoted.com and we will remove your number. Opting out of texts does not stop the business you contacted from calling you back about your request.

Mobile information will not be sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are never shared with any third party.

Who we share it with

The business you contacted. This is the point. When you submit a form asking a plumber, roofer, or HVAC company for service, we send your request to that business so they can respond. Their own handling of your information is up to them.

Service providers who run the plumbing. We use third parties to deliver messages and host the software: a text message provider, an email delivery provider, cloud hosting, and error monitoring. They may only process your information to provide those services to us, subject to the restriction on mobile information above.

Legal requirements. We may disclose information if required by law, or to protect our rights, safety, or property.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

Cookies and analytics

Our sites use cookies and similar technology to keep sessions working and to measure traffic. We may use advertising platforms to measure which ads led to a form submission. Most browsers let you refuse cookies, though parts of the site may stop working if you do.

How long we keep it

We keep lead and message records for as long as the business you contacted remains our client, and afterward for as long as we need them for legal, tax, and compliance purposes. Consent and opt-out records are kept for as long as required by messaging regulations, which may be longer than the rest.

Your choices

  • Reply STOP to any text message to stop text messages.
  • Use the unsubscribe link in any email to stop marketing email.
  • Email hello@isnoted.com to ask what information we hold about you, to correct it, or to ask us to delete it. We will respond within the time your state's law requires, and within 45 days in any case.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights over your personal information, including the right to know what we collect and the right to opt out of its sale. We do not sell personal information.

Children

Our services are for people hiring home service contractors. They are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, email us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page. If the change is significant, we will make that clear on the page.
